The Launch Ceremony of the Recycle N Cash (RNC) System for recycling collection across Seberang Perai was held on 8 October 2025 at the Dewan Kenanga, Menara Bandaraya (MBSP), in collaboration with the Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP).
The event primarily focused on the introduction of the Door-to-Door (D2D) Recycling Collection Program, a new initiative aimed at improving recycling efficiency and accessibility for residents. In addition, the event also introduced the Cash-on-Demand Recycling (COD-R) initiative and the Smart Drive-Thru Recycling Center (SDTRC) station, further strengthening efforts to promote smart and sustainable waste management practices.
The ceremony included a site visit by YB to the SDTRC station, showcasing its operations and benefits as part of the shared commitment between GRN Company and MBSP towards building a cleaner and greener Seberang Perai.
