The Door-to-Door (D2D) Recycling Collection Trial Program was held on 23 August 2025 (Saturday) at Taman Sentral and Taman Mak Mandin in Butterworth, The program was conducted by GRN Company as part of an initiative to improve waste management efficiency in the Seberang Perai Utara area.
This trial served as a hands-on exercise to train staff in familiarizing themselves with the designated collection routes and managing the system according to the planned schedule. At the same time, it provided an opportunity to identify key areas for improvement to ensure smoother and more effective implementation of the Door-to-Door (D2D) program in the future.
A video recording session was also carried out during the activity to create public awareness and share information about the recycling initiative with residents across Seberang Perai.
